Bucharest Wedding Photographer Ivo Popov presents: The Fabulous Destination Wedding of Ioana and Sorin
The wedding of Ioana and Sorin was my first destination wedding in the land of Count Dracula – Romania. You probably remember their engagement photo session in Bruges. I was very exited when they called and asked me to be their wedding photographer. Sorin is also a wedding photographer, so I was very excited but in the same time also a little bit nervous.
Now that the wedding is over I can honestly say that was one of the most fabulous weddings I have attended. It was gorgeous, elegant, hilarious and wild, Ioana and Sorin’s wedding had me smiling behind my camera all day. They are such a cute couple and we had such a great time shooting on the streets of Bucharest in this cold March day.
We started with the bride’s preparations in the luxury “Grand Hotel Continental” in the heart of the city. Then we spent several hours walking and taking pictures with the groom, the bride and her fabulous bridesmaids. The party afterwords was crazy! Everybody was dancing and having fun, at least until the bride was suddenly stolen! Turns out this is an old Romanian tradition!
The party lasted until the sun came up on the next day!
